How should I use John Lee, MD's Progesterin (ProgesterAll)?

Gently massage ¼ or ⅛ teaspoon of cream into areas where your skin is thin daily.
Think of places where you are likely to blush, such as your neck and face, or your chest, the inside of your arms or thighs, the palms of your hands or the soles of your feet (unless your hands or feet have a lot of calluses).

The optimal approach is to divide the above amount into a large dose before bed and a small dose in the morning. Or follow the instructions of your health care professional.
If this distribution does not suit you, choose the most suitable time for you to apply the full dose of cream. Choose a different part of your skin each day, to avoid over-treating certain areas.

On the back of the tube of Progesterin (ProgesterAll™) you will find a small dot that you can use to easily determine the dosage. A round, pea-sized blob of cream the size of the dot is equal to approximately 1/16 teaspoon of cream, two of these blobs equal ⅛ teaspoon. For ¼ teaspoon you will need to apply four pea-sized dots.

Some tips when using Progesterin (ProgesterAll™) Apply the cream after a warm shower or bath, not before.

If you are applying the cream to your face, allow it to absorb completely before applying makeup. Do not apply Progesterin (ProgesterAll™) over cosmetics. Guidelines for Premenopausal Women If your menstrual cycle is on average 26 to 30 days, start using the cream in the first month between days 10 and 12 of your menstrual cycle.
Your first menstrual day counts as day 1. Continue this until a day or two before your next menstrual period. For most women, this is after 26 to 30 days.

If your period starts before the expected last day, stop using the cream and start counting down again to day 10, 11 or 12.
The closer you start using the cream to the time when you ovulate (or just after), the better the use of the cream will match your own cycle.

It will probably take you two to three cycles to reach the right rhythm for your body.

Guidelines for Menopausal Women Use between ⅛ and ¼ teaspoon of Progesterin (ProgesterAll™) for 24 to 26 days in a row. Many women find it helpful to start the cream on the first day of the month, stop on days 24 to 26, and then resume on the first day of the following month. Other women prefer to take their hormonal break during the first five or six days of the month and then continue using the cream until the end of the month.
